Heathrow Xtreme will take over as the prime Heathrow in 2008. 14/11/2005 New AFCAD available Some users of Navigation software have been having trouble displaying the ILSs, please download the latest AFCAD file for Heathrow from the AFCAD page 09/06/2005 New Version 2 released. There are two reasons to this new version: 1) To try and improve frame rates 2) To add the new T5 and other airfield changes The extra detail includes a basic version of T5 and one of its satellites. There is also the new Control tower, the A380 Pier 6, new stands and Concorde. The frame rate improvement may turn out to be the best part of this new version with a 65 to 100% (1.6 To 2X) improvement!!! It is also thanks to them that hundreds users have been able to download Heathrow pro without much trouble. 19/01/2004 I’ve made an alternative AFCAD file that users 27L/09R for departure and 27R/09L for arrivals. This is more like the real Heathrow in that one runway is used for departure and not mixed up.It also means you don’t get so may hold ups It was modified from the default scenery afcad file, but could be used if you have ultimate traffic aswell.
