on airport in 2004
UK2000 Scenery proudly announces the release of Southampton airport for
FS2004/2. This Airport serves the Southcoast of England. And has always been in
competition with Bournemouth 27miles down the road. Southampon has many more Passenger flights due to its
proximity to the M3 Motorway, but suffers from a short runway of 5500ft. Most
of Southampton’s traffic is small commuter aircraft like the Dash8, ATP and
ERJ, but does have the odd holiday charter (when the runway is dry and the wind
is right!)
